English New Zealand is pleased to announce the first three member schools approved to offer the English New Zealand Accredited Pathway Assessment.

Approval to offer the Accredited Pathway Assessment (APA) is additional to meeting all requirements for English New Zealand membership, including the English New Zealand Standards which quality assure all member schools.

Bridge International College, Kaplan International Languages, and Languages International offer courses enabling a direct entry pathway to New Zealand’s eight universities under an MoU between Universities New Zealand and English New Zealand.

All eight of New Zealand’s universities accept the Accredited Pathways Assessment of these three approved English New Zealand members as evidence of meeting their English language proficiency requirements at an undergraduate or postgraduate level.

The aim of this initiative is to encourage more students to pathway into tertiary study following their English language studies.
