If you can’t decide where to eat, book an Aucky Walky food tour and spend three hours walking around Auckland while trying food from a variety of delicious cafes and restaurants.

Venues, facilities and events in Auckland

Auckland is a great venue for concerts, sports events, and different types of cultural, music, arts, and film festivals.

Watch traditional dance performances at the world’s largest Pasifika festival, or go to the Diwali Festival of Lights for a beautiful celebration of Indian culture.

Spark Arena hosts many international singers and bands – Beyoncé even did a bungy jump from the Sky Tower while she was here!

Sports fans can watch the All Blacks rugby team perform the haka at Eden Park.

What to see and do in the Auckland region

The Auckland region is known for its impressive beaches and warm climate. Spend your weekends exploring the wild beauty of Piha Beach or take a day trip to visit the famous Matakana Farmers Market.

Catch the ferry to Waiheke Island for delicious food and wine, or kayak to Rangitoto Island and walk to the top for amazing views of Auckland Harbour.
